This website has many levelled readers of various contexts that will help to improve your student, or child's reading ability. There are language options too, so even those that are learning a new language, it is a great place to start!

This is a great site! We know it doesn't actually involve reading, however, it does give people an array of topics and video to learn. We believe that even by watching short clip or video of a topic, one can be inspired to search for a book that can give them more information. If you like puzzles, TED Ed also does brain teaser that can make all ages think. Check them out, we are sure you'll discover something new you want to learn about.
POETRY FOUNDATION
The Poetry Foundation has a huge collection of poems along with articles, lessons, and readings by famous authors. It is a great place to start your poetry journey.

POETRY ARCHIVE
The Poetry Archive has a catalog of poems that you can both listen to and read. It is a great way to hear the beautiful language!
PROJECT GUTENBERG
Project Gutenberg has taken responsibility for the massive undertaking of digitizing some of the world’s greatest literature -- all for free! They digitize literature that is out of copyright, so it is primarily older works.

NO FEAR SHAKESPEARE
While we don’t recommend SparkNotes for everything, they do have a very useful “modern translation” side by side with the original text that can help you puzzle out those old-fashioned phrases. They also have some good reading guides to use as a starting point for your own analysis.
RSC
The Royal Shakespeare Company is located in Shakespeare’s birthplace, and they are a great source of information when trying to read one of his plays. They have reading guides, lessons, and unit plans that are helpful for both teachers and an everyday viewer.
